Dear colleagues,

Paper submissions are invited for the special issue of International Journal of Early Childhood entitled: Peace in Early Childhood: Foundations for Just and Inclusive Societies

The International Journal of Early Childhood (IJEC) invites submissions for a special issue focused on Peace in Early Childhood, a theme of growing urgency and global significance. Anchored in OMEP’s longstanding commitment to peace and human rights education, this issue seeks to explore how early childhood education (catering for learners aged birth to 8 years) can serve as a catalyst for building peaceful, inclusive, and sustainable societies.

DEADLINES:

• Abstract submission deadline: January 30, 2026

• Abstract length: 100-150 words, with up to six keywords.

• Send abstract to Lead Guest Editor (contact details below).

• Please submit your full manuscript by June 30, 2026.
